To maintain a highly-qualified full staff, the Los Altos Rod and Gun Club is always interested in starting discussions with those interested in working with us.

Range Safety Officers

Are you in good health and available to work on weekends at least two days per month? If so, you might enjoy working here as a Range Safety Officer (RSO).

Knowledge of firearms, familiarity with our Range and Range Safety Rules, NRA certification, and/or prior gun range experience are helpful, but not required. Will train.

Work Campers

Do you have a recreational vehicle or camping trailer that you would like to live in at our location while working about four days a week? If so, please consider taking on a role as a work camper.

Our resident staffers work as Range Safety Officers, and in maintenance and warehouse functions, plus limited cashier/office positions.

Couples are preferred.

Independent Instructors

All commercial instruction on the Range must be approved though advance agreement with the General Manager. We encourage professional, certified instructors to contact us regarding the use of the Range.
