The Los Altos Rod and Gun Club policy regarding minors is as follows:

Ammunition Sales

Sale of Handgun Ammunition:	must be at least 21 years old.
Sale of Rifle/Shotgun Ammunition:	must be at least 18 years old.

Shooting

Handguns:

· Shooters less than 21 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian; OR

· minors (less than 18 years old) must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at least 21 years old, and the minor must have written permission from the minor’s parent or legal guardian; OR

· shooters between 18 and 21 years old must have written permission from their parent or legal guardian (but need not be accompanied)

Rifle and Shotgun:

· rifle and shotgun shooters must be at least 18 years old; OR

· minors (less than 18 years old) must be accompanied and supervised by their parent or legal guardian; OR

· the minor (less than 18 years old) must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at least 21 years old

Less than 18 years old:

· rifle, shotgun, or handgun shooting if accompanied and supervised by their parent or legal guardian

· rifle or shotgun shooting if accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at least 21 years old

· handgun shooting if accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult over 21 years of age and written permission from their parent or legal guardian

18 to 21 years old:

· rifle or shotgun shooting (need not be accompanied)

· handgun shooting if accompanied and supervised by their parent or legal guardian

· handgun shooting if written permission from their parent or legal guardian

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE LOS ALTOS ROD AND GUN CLUB AND ALL ITS EMPLOYEES AND MEMBERS FROM ALL SUITS AND ACTIONS BROUGHT FOR, OR ON ACCOUNT OF, ANY INJURIES OR DAMAGES RECEIVED OR SUSTAINED BY ANY PERSON OR PERSONS, BY OR FROM THE CONSEQUESCES OF ANY ACTIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE OR ANY ACT OF OMMISSION, OF THE ABOVE-NAMED MINOR.
